Samuel delights in "whooping" his dad, which he tried to do at 2:00 this morning. Thankfully, mommy and the glider rocker came to the rescue, after daddy had discovered the real problem- a stinky diaper! Sam had a great Saturday. He helped mommy pick out some birthday presents for the April birthdays in the family and took a walk outside to enjoy the gorgeous weather. Tomorrow we are going to Illinois to stay for a few days since Tyson is recovered from the chicken pox! Happy Birthday, PaPa!

What a big healthy boy! Your daily journal of Samuel's life is astounding. Babies alone are normally a lot of work, so your journaling is amazing. How do you find time? Daddy is likely to have many more occasions when he will find (and dispose of) stinky diapers! Parents love their children but few are sad when the dirty diaper stage is a thing of the past. Hope all of you are well and out of the rising waters of the Ohio.
