Getting ready to dig in!
Yum!Sam had a great 2nd birthday! He started the party on Friday night when Uncle Ed, Aunt Jenny, Tyson, and Makinzie arrived. The kids played and decorated cupcakes and just enjoyed being together (Remember, Mimi, Sam, Sam, Mimi!)
Saturday, Momma, Momma Kay, Papa, Uncle Jon, Uncle Jason, Hailey, Meems, Aunt Neenie, Chris, Eric, Emily, Max, and Miles arrived. After assembling his new trampoline, all the kids had fun on the "jumpoline" as Miles called it. We all enjoyed being outside watching the kids race down the hill on the big wheels and then went inside for lunch, cupcakes, and presents! Sam blew his candle out on cue, just as the singing was over.
When the "party-party", as Sam called it, was over, the Mann clan and us headed to Lake Barkley State Resort Park for some swimming. Sam had a good time, and enjoyed his whole birthday weekend. Tomorrow, he heads to his pediatrician's office for his two-year old checkup, and if I am brave enough, it will be his first day in big-boy underwear!!
