Dauphin Island, Alabama: Day 4

"The Duke" took us from Mobile Bay to the Gulf of Mexico to see the  Sand Island light house, and back again. The ride was a bit choppy, but did not bother Sam at all. Mama Mann was another story!

We were much closer to the light house than this, but my camera was too far away from me and the ride too bumpy for me to get up and get it!

There were two families of dolphins following the boat for a while. So pretty!

Samuel checking out what the shrimp net drug in. We caught some crabs, small fish, and shrimp.

The birds following us got a free snack of some of the things the shrimp net caught!

Driving the boat with the captain. The captain and first mate were great, let Sam ask lots of questions, and explained everything we saw.
Today is our last day on Dauphin Island. We had a great time, but Samuel is ready to go home and see daddy and Max! We biked several miles this morning then cruised on "The Duke" in the afternoon. Sam said that the bike trail here is like the Greenbelt at home. I think it is much more scenic! :)
