Flash

Yesterday, Sam was lovely. We played with play-dough, went to McDonald's for an ice cream cone, and then....meltdown. Sam was getting in his car seat and was standing up, not listening, and being a typical two year old. When I told him to get in his seat, he would not, so I picked him up and put him in his seat. He proceeded to yell (scream, really) at me, "DON'T SAY THOSE WORDS TO ME!!!" He then threw his shoe and me and proceeded to scream for his daddy the entire 7 minutes it took to get home. Yes, 7 minutes. I know this because I counted each excruciating minute.
Once home, he was almost angelic...
Tonight, again, wonderful. Dinner, swinging outside, a BIG bubble bath, books (A Stranger in the Woods and 'Twas the Night before Christmas)...and BAM! Something thrown against the wall of his room in anger because daddy won't lay down by him.
How moods change in a flash around here!

And now, a few Sam-isms, so I don't forget them:

Santa Claus lives at the "Fishin' Pole".

Is it hot, or no? Is this yours, or no? Is this blue, or no? He adds "or no" to almost every question. Too cute!
