Myrtle Beach 2010

Dear Samuel,
On your very first vacation with both Mama and Daddy, you went to Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Sissy came, too, and we all had a great time. On the first day, May 25th, we drove to Spartanburg, South Carolina. During the drive, you watched videos, played, and read books. You were such a good traveler! On May 26th (Mama's birthday!), we drive from Spartanburg to Myrtle Beach. We stayed in a condo in Conway, South Carolina. There was a pool, which you loved to jump in! After supper the first day, we drove to downtown Myrtle beach, and you got to feel the ocean water and sand on your feet! You loved it, until a wave knocked you over. Then, you didn't like your clothes being wet! On Thursday, you swam in the pool and then we went to the beach at Huntington Beach State Park. You loved being in the water, as long as someone was holding you, and playing in the sand. That night, we ate dinner at Captain Dave's, where you charmed the waitress out of some free ice cream, and you must have ate a dozen shrimp! You were delightful dinner company!
On Friday, we went to the beach at Surfside City, and you enjoyed playing in the sand some more, and walking on a pier. Friday night, we went to Medieval Times and you were absolutely mesmerized for the entire two hours! You cheered for "our knight" and loved watching the horses!
On Saturday, we shopped and then you went swimming and ate so much pizza and ice cream that you said your tummy hurt. Sissy had to rub your tummy so you would feel better!
On Sunday we drove to Nashville, and you were a wonderful traveling companion! On Monday, after breakfast, we said "See you soon!" to Sissy, and left her at the airport. You tried to stay with her, but we made you come home with us to see Max and Jack.
I know that you won't remember this vacation when you are older, but your daddy and I will, and we will know that we all had a great time being together!
