Wonderous Weekend (and a Happy belated Birthday to Aunt Sissy!)

Sam had a great weekend and is still recovering! Saturday, as you saw, he swam, played, and had his first corn on the cob! He loved his pool and we played outside most of the day. Yesterday we went to our friends, Brian and Leslie's, house for a cook out and Sam's semi-annual attack by Spanky the dog! Spanky loves Sam, and Sam is not so sure!!! :) But, he swam there with Hunter and Hailey and ran all over the yard, ate hot dogs, and managed to wear himself out. He slept like a rock last night. I didn't take one picture yesterday, but will take some later. Instead of a picture, I did bring home a yummy NO-COOK recipe:

Twinkie Trifle

Cut up a box of twinkies and layer in a trifle bowl in this order:

twinkies, sweetened condensed milk, fruit, cool whip

If you are Sam, eat 2 helpings and then run around yelling from the sugar rush!
