I have to admit...

My baby is no longer a "baby", but an almost 10 month old toddler! Samuel no longer drinks from a bottle, usually likes to be layed down before he is completely asleep (unless Meemaw or Mama Kay is around! :), and is WALKING! He has walked halfway across the kitchen, his bedroom, and the basement. So, now instead of saying "Sam took some steps today", I guess I need to say "Sam walked today!" He loves all things related to food (he is our kid, you know!), and tonight discovered he loves pears. His very mis-matched dinner consisted of pears, carrots, tomatoes, cottage cheese, and crackers., He couldn't wait until I had "regular dinner" ready! Sam also has developed quite the temper, as his Mama Mann heard on the phone earlier tonight. When he is unhappy about something, he very loudly and VERY shrilly screams, and crosses his arms in front of him! Think me as a toddler (or adult!). Mrs. Elva said yesterday that he has started shaking his head "No" at her when she tells him no. But, with his temper comes a great laugh and playful personality. Guess I better go find the book The Strong Willed Child... Right now, he is snuggled upstairs in his bed, and I have been updating the look, and "listen" of his blog.
