Sunday was spent mostly without electricity at our house as the remnants of Hurricane Ike caused wind gusts the blew down trees, limbs, and signs in Paducah, and even a tree top in our backyard. As you can see, Sam was not bothered by the lack of electricity. He had a fun day anyway, and we were all very glad when electricity returned around 8:00 PM last night. We were glad to learn our family in the Houston area survived Ike safely. Today is my first day of a four day work week, so I am off today and work later the rest of the week. Klaytor has taken off work to finish cleaning up the yard, so Sam will be spoiled by having us to himself for another day!
