Samuel took his first trip to Illinois friday night and had a great time. He went to see everyone at the American Legion fundraiser and met Paula, Dennis, and Grandma and Grandpa Stinson. Mommy and daddy didn't get to hold him all night! Daddy had a great time playing Texas Hold'Em, too! Friday night, he and Tyson had their first sleep over, though Sam doesn't remember too much- he slept through too much- so did mom and dad!
Saturday, he got to visit more with Mama and Papa, Mama Kay, his aunt, uncles, and cousins. Makinzie has a great time kissing and patting "Baby Sam". Saturday night he went to his first dance! Mommy's aunt and uncle had an anniversary party, and Sam went with mommy, daddy, Mama and Papa, and Mama Kay. He spent much of the evening in his hotsling, and even danced with mommy and daddy! He got to meet all sorts of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Sunday, Samuel went to church, where he met more friends, and especially enjoyed cuddling with Dena and Keith, mommy and daddy's friends. Dena could not believe how big Sam is, and how fast he ate!! Then he went to his first Easter egg hunt, and watched Makinzie find all sorts of treats. Sam did not wake up to hunt eggs for himself- maybe next year! :) Then we came home and slept in our own bed- yea!!
